Les rapports de v\u00e9rification des ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents, qui contiennent des informations personnelles sur les personnes concern\u00e9es, sont souvent r\u00e9glement\u00e9s par les lois sur la confidentialit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es et d&rsquo;autres lois sur l&#8217;emploi. <\/p>\n<p>Depuis sa cr\u00e9ation, la PBSA estime qu&rsquo;il existe un besoin important d&rsquo;une norme industrielle conforme et coh\u00e9rente et a donc cr\u00e9\u00e9 le BSOAP. Cette reconnaissance sera le \u00ab\u00a0sceau\u00a0\u00bb de l&rsquo;industrie, repr\u00e9sentant l&rsquo;engagement d&rsquo;un organisme de v\u00e9rification des ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents \u00e0 l&rsquo;excellence, \u00e0 la responsabilit\u00e9, \u00e0 des normes professionnelles \u00e9lev\u00e9es et \u00e0 l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration institutionnelle continue.  <\/p>\n<p>Le BSCC supervise le processus de demande d&rsquo;accr\u00e9ditation et est l&rsquo;organisme d&rsquo;accr\u00e9ditation qui valide que les organismes de v\u00e9rification des ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents qui demandent l&rsquo;accr\u00e9ditation respectent ou d\u00e9passent une norme de comp\u00e9tence mesurable. Pour obtenir l&rsquo;accr\u00e9ditation, les organisations doivent passer un audit approfondi de leur documentation op\u00e9rationnelle, suivi d&rsquo;un audit virtuel rigoureux, men\u00e9 par un auditeur tiers.
